Margaret McKee

Margaret A. McKee, 77, of Eldred, died Sunday (Feb. 11, 2007) at the Bradford Regional Medical Center.

Born June 5, 1929, in Emporium, she was a daughter of Cecil and Lillian Gallup Marsh, who preceded her in death. In March of 1952, she married Lester W. McKee who survives.

Mrs. McKee worked in the housekeeping department at Bradford Hospital and was a 1947 graduate of Bradford High School.

She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, the Bible study group at the church, and also did volunteer work at The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Kathy (David) Ciolek of Limestone, N.Y., Susan (Tom) Bleem of Bradford, and Karen (William) Sutherland of Bradford; two sons, Michael (Debbie) McKee of Eldred and Richard McKee of Bradford; 12 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; a sister, Anna (Floyd) Nelson of Milton, Del.; a brother, Tom (Jean) Marsh of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lisa Sutherland; her twin brother, Melvin; and brothers, Alan, Wayne and Cecil.

Funeral services were held at the Grace Lutheran Church, Bradford, with the Rev. Gerald Le Feber, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church in Allegany, N.Y. officiating.

Burial will be in Betula Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bradford Manor or Grace Lutheran Church.
