Comedian to perform tonight at Legion
A couple of rising stars from the New York comedy clubs will make a rare appearance in Coudersport on Saturday night.

Mike Milton and Larry DeFelice, performers from Comedy Blast Inc., will perform "An Evening of Stand-Up Comedy" at A m e r i c a n Legion Post 192 at 7:00. It's a fundraiser for the Coudersport Arboretum and the new Military Veterans Wall of Honor. Tickets are $15 at the door.

Stand-up comedy is normally ass o c i a t e d with city venues and college campuses, but Milton and DeFelice are part of a g r o w i n g trend to spread the entertainment into smaller communities.

Milton, the night's headliner, entertains regularly at Gotham Comedy Club and Caroline's on Broadway. Part of his routine is a unique take on marriage and child-rearing, based in part on his own experiences.

DeFelice has been seen on CBS-TV's Late Show with Conan O'Brien and other national broadcasts. DeFelice gets a lot of mileage out of being, as he describes it, "vertically challenged" (he's fourfoot 10). Celebrity impressions fill his act, which is also peppered with his own fictional characters.
