      There's a crowded field in the District 9 high school basketball playoffs, but the field will winnow very quickly next Tuesday and Wednesday nights. Coudersport and Cameron County will enter both their boys' and girls' teams in the playoffs.

NTL Boys close out regular season
      A make-up game on Friday, Coudersport at Otto-Eldred, wrote the final chapter of the Northern Tier Boys' Basketball League season. The other six teams closed things out on Thursday, including a thriller at Smethport.
