      H. Jack Cooper, 88, of Emporium, died Thursday (Feb. 15, 2007), in Mountain Laurel Nursing Center, Clearfield. Born March 3, 1918 in Buffalo, he was the son of Horace J. and Nellie Wertz Cooper. On March 23, 1946, in Emporium, he married Annabelle Swank, who survives.
