'Free checkover Saturday' coming March 3 at E&G

A Coudersport business, E&G Auto Plus, is once again supporting the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.

"Free Checkover Saturday" is scheduled for Saturday, March 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at E&G, located on Rt. 6 (Port Allegany Road), west of Coudersport. Terry Gerhart, owner of E&G, and Allen Faulstick, captain of the Sweden Valley Strollers team in the annual Relay For Life, are organizing the event.

An inspection of vehicles will be conducted at E&G, free of charge. Mechanics will spend an estimated 30 minutes on each vehicle, checking brakes, ball joints, lights, steering, oil, exhaust, and steering suspension, among other parts.

Vehicle owners are under no obligation. Gerhart will make a donation to the American Cancer Society for each vehicle that's checked over.
