Andrew Chisholm, a 2006 graduate of Coudersport Area High School, is the first recipient of the Ernie Kuratomi Scholarship.The award honors the former high school principal who left the area last summer to return to the classroom as a teacher in North Carolina. Each year, Coudersport Student Council remembers the former administrator by presenting a $1,000 scholarship to a musician-athlete who exemplifies leadership in student activities. The award is presented upon successful completion of the recipient's first semester at college.
