John Harvey

John R. Harvey, Jr., 26, of Baton Rouge, Louis., formerly of Genesee, died Thursday (Feb. 22, 2007) in the Baton Rouge Medical Center.

Born April 10, 1980, in Coudersport, he was the son of John R. and Deborah L. Schweigart Harvey, who survives. He was a 1998 graduate of Whitesville Central School.

Surviving are, Deborah and William Elliott of Genesee; father, John R. Harvey of DuBois; siblings, Aaron (Carrie) Elliott of Scio, NY, Kathaleen (Eugene) Greenman of Alma, NY, Aaron Elliott of Genesee, and Shawn M. Harvey of DuBois; grandparents, Lottie and William Slaby of Gaines, Bertha Jean Prutzman of Washington, and Daisy Elliott of Genesee; three nieces and a nephew.

He was predeceased by paternal grandfather, William T. Harvey.

Funeral services were held at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, with the Rev. Mel Ternes officiating.

Burial will be in Genesee Cemetery
