Outdoor writer coming March 12

Popular outdoor writer and radio host Jim Zumbo will be the guest speaker during a Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation banquet scheduled for Saturday night, March 10, in Ridgway.

The Elk Country Chapter's Big Game Banquet, to be held at the Royal Inn, is always a popular event and an important fund-raiser for projects that benefit the Pennsylvania elk herd.

Zumbo's work often appears in Outdoor Life magazine. He is also host of the syndicated radio show, Jim Zumbo Outdoors, and a member of the RMEF board of directors. He is considered an authority on both wildlife behavior and the sport of hunting.
