 | | Lauren Geiser, a senior at Coudersport Area High School, participated in last week's Pa. Music Educators Assn. Region II Chorus Festival at Blairsville High School. Geiser, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Geiser of Coudersport, barely missed qualifying for a return trip to All-State Chorus. Students were selected for Region II Chorus based on auditions from a field of singers representing 60 high schools in 13 counties. They performed two concerts under the direction of James Dearing, professor of music and director of choral studies at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Geiser, a high honor student at Coudersport, plans to study vocal performance and stage in college. |
