Jacobs plays 'house concert' Sunday

A nationally known guitarist will be in Coudersport on Sunday for a unique performance that's open to the public.

Neil Jacobs, described by some reviewers as a master of the 12-string guitar, is performing a "house concert" at the home of Bill and Nancy Trimbur, 126 Cherry Tree Lane (off Ayers Hill Road) starting at 1:30 p.m.

Potter County Fine Arts Council is helping with the arrangements. A $15 donation is requested, with proceeds to benefit the Arts Council.

Jacobs is known for his own style of playing a full spectrum of styles and dynamics, touching on music as diverse as Gypsy, World, Balkan folk, jazz, and fingerstyle guitar.
