Rebuilding season for CCHS girls
The 2006-07 basketball season was a rebuilding experience for the Cameron County High School girls. Jessica Ellenberger was the only senior on the team and played an important role in the Red Raiders' success.

Junior Kristin Sestina was one of the Northern Tier League's top rebounders and shot blockers. Another junior, Whitney Lewis, was a solid three-point shooter and held her own on the boards. Meanwhile, scrappy junior Bethany Dunsmore had a strong season at guard.

That trio will be back next season, as will Shelby Summers, Molly Fragale, Lacey Feldbauer, Brittany Lundberg, Bre Dunsmore, Kimmy Burkhouse and Alexis Ramsey.

The Raiders finished with an overall record of 9-16. They lost to District 9 defending champion Union in the first round of the playoffs.
