AARP offering income tax help
      Pennsylvania taxpayers with low and medium income, particularly those 60 and older, is available from AARP tax aides. They will be offering help with personal income tax returns for federal, state, local, and property/rent rebates at the Coudersport and Emporium senior centers.

Alzheimer's group to meet
      An Alzheimer's Support Group meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14, at 313 South Chestnut Street, Emporium. Meetings offer help and educational support to caregivers who are coping with the pressures of caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease.

Area students in 'mock trial'
      Students in the enrichment programs at Coudersport, Cameron County and Austin participated in the Mock Trail Competition, recently held in Emporium and Ridgway. Coudersport came away with the district championship, earning a berth in the regional round this week in Williamsport.
