Computer, business classes planned in Port Allegany

Computer education classes on the basics in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, a well as resumewriting and accounting, are being offered in Port Allegany by the Potter County Education Council. Schedule is as follows:

Mornings (9:00 to noon): March 13, Outlook 2; March 19, Excel 1; March 26, Word 2; March 29, Excel 3.

Afternoons (1:00 to 4:00): March 13, Access 2; March 19, Word 1; March 26, Excel 2; March 29, PowerPoint.

Evenings (6:00 to 9:00): March 12, Word 2; March 21, Resume-Writing; March 22, Accounting; March 28, PowerPoint.

Cost is $38 per three hours of instruction and includes a textbook.

Government employees or officials in Potter or McKean counties can enroll for free through the state's Municipality Technology Assistance Program.
