Workshops on hospitality

Local business operators who cater to tourists are encouraged to attend workshops being offered in Coudersport, St. Marys and Bradford as part of the Pennsylvania Wilds initiative.

The Pa. PRIDE (short for "Producing Resourceful, Informed, Devoted Employees") Hospitality Workshops help businesses provide high-quality experiences to their customers through exceptional service, knowledge of their community and region and an understanding of local and regional tourism initiatives.

The cost is $20 and includes lunch.

Workshops will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the following dates: April 10, at the Seneca Building, Bradford, call 1-800-473-9370 to register; May 2, Potter County Education Council, Coudersport, call 274-3365; May 9, Gunners Restaurant, St. Marys, call 1-800-348-9393 (ask for Elyse).
