Court comedy coming to Coudersport

For 45 years, the Harlem Wizards have brought their special brand of basketball comedy and magic to communities across America. Behind the "Tricks, Hoops and Alley-Oops" show is the potential for some serious basketball. The Wizards claim to hold the longest winning streak in sports at 2,800-plus games!
One of the nation's most popular basketball comedy crews, the Harlem Wizards, bring their game to Coudersport on Monday, March 19.

These basketball clowns, whose style is similar to the world-renowned Harlem Globetrotters, will be playing a game against the Coaching All Stars, with the opening tip-off at 7:00 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the school's Varsity Club.

Started in 1962, the Wizards promote their show as "Tricks, Hoops, and Alley- Oops!" They're famous for their basketball dominance, their tricks, slams and personality. The Wizards also currently own the longest known winning streak in

sports, at more than 2,800 games.

Tickets are available by advance sale only at $10 per person. No tickets will be sold at the door. They can be obtained at either C o u d e r s p o r t Area School District office, or at Papa Jo's Italian Gardens, Always in Bloom or Dr. Peter Ryan Dentistry.
