Church marking 150 years

A celebration of 150 years of ministry and mission is being celebrated by Emporium's First United Methodist Church. Members of the community are welcome to join in the event on Sunday, March 18. It begins with Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. and ends with a musical program for the community starting at 7:00 p.m.

In between, there will be worship, fellowship, food, fun, sealing of a time capsule, children's programs, an open house for viewing church history and greeting former pastors.

Church members have created a display in the window of the former video store in Emporium, next to Lundberg's Pharmacy. Details on the celebration are posted there.
