CTC plans trip to Pirates ballgame

Austin Communities That Cares will sponsor a bus trip to Pittsburgh's PNC Park on Sunday, June 3, to see a major league baseball game between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Los Angeles Dodgers. Game time is 1:35 p.m.

The bus will leave the Austin Area School parking lot at 7:00 a.m. Cost is $15 per person and includes transportation, ticket and a Pirates ballcap. There will be a stop for dinner on the way home.

Those 12 and under will receive a special promotional gift item. "Kids Day" is being held outside the stadium on Federal Street starting at 11:00 a.m. with games and activities. Stadium admission gates open at 11:30 a.m.

Only 47 tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Permission slips and money are due at the school office by April 27.
