Maxx Show coming

Austin Area School will host the Vincent Maxx hypnosis entertainment show next Wednesday night at 7:00 as a fund-raiser for students Whitney Crosby and Rayna Valenti.

They's been chosen to attend the National Youth Leaders Conference in Washington D.C. and will need another $1,500 to cover the expense.

The Vincent Maxx show will feature members of the audience brought up on stage to experience first-hand "magic of the mind."

"Hypnosis is a way to center the mind and enter the subconscious," Maxx said. "In the highly suggestible state of hypnosis, volunteers become eager to follow my every direction."

Onstage subjects experience events as if they were really happening, whether they have been told they have become a celebrity or that they just ate a sour lemon. Audiences get in on the fun of watching people they know acting out in ways they never imagined.
