Barbara Hasselman Barbara Hasselman, 67, of Williamsport, died Thursday (March 8, 2007) at the Gatehouse. She was born May 11, 1939 in Wellsboro, a daughter of Leo T. and Harriet Hartzog Wilson. Mrs. Hasselman was a homemaker and past president of the Knights of Columbus Council 368 Auxiliary. A volunteer in the cafeteria at Bishop Neumann High School, she worked on the Election Board at Curtin Middle School. She was an active member of St. Boniface Catholic Church, was head of the bereavement committee at the church and was involved with the parish carnival. She and her husband, Jon N. Hasselman, celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary on May 30. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are four children, Jon (Wenda) Hasselman of Williamsport, Tanya L. Harvey of Williamsport, Terry A. Hasselman of Bailey, Colo., Jeffery R. (Vallerie) Hasselman of Jersey Shore; three grand- children, Justin R. Hasselman, Corey L. Harvey and Sara Hasselman; a brother, Thomas Wilson of Pensacola, Fla.; two cousins, Joseph DiBello and Bruno Carnovale. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Boniface Catholic Church, Williamsport. |
