Comedian to perform tonight at Legion

Three Coudersport Wrestling Club members qualified for last weekend's Pa. Junior Wrestling Championships.

Kyle Collins, fresh off a full varsity season for Coudersport High School, placed fourth in the state for ages 13-14 at 252 lbs. He fought hard through a full bracket, notching a pair of wins and losing two close matches.

Kyle Bova wrestled in the 70-lb. bracket for ages 11-12. Joe Ayers competed at 187 lbs. for ages 13-14.

"We've had a solid year," Coach Ayers said. "We took 16 wrestlers to the Sectionals and had 12 qualify to go on to the Area V tournament in St. Marys. Of those, eight placed in the top four of their weight class."

Next up for nine of the Coudersport Wrestling Club members is the Middle Atlantic Wrestling Association's North Region Tournament next weekend in Shamokin.

Qualifiers, including some from the Port Allegany area participating with the Coudersport club, include: Forest Tuttle, Billy Barnes, Joe Ayers, Nate Tucker and Kyle Bova, all first; Nick Ayers, Bradley Goodreau and Frankie DeLung, second; Colton Bova, Caleb Spring and Brandon Goodreau, third; Zach Manning and Lucas Manning.
