Ernest Thomas

Ernest B. Thomas, 81, formerly of Coudersport and Palmyra, died Sunday (March 25, 2007) in the Sena-Kean Manor, Smethport.

Born Sept. 30, 1925, in Burnham, he was the son of Henry and Nellie Warner Thomas. He was married to the former Mary Jane Mahek, who predeceased him in 2002.

A World War II Veteran, he served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theatre. He was employed with Hershey Foods.

He is survived locally by a daughter, Kathi M. (Nathan) Hose of Coudersport.

Burial was in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Arrangements are under the direction of the Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses.
