Lee Williams Lela (Lee) M. Williams, 73, of Coudersport, died Thursday (March 22, 2007) in Charles Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. She was known to mant as co-owner of two Coudersport businesses, Thorn-Lee Distributors and Family Affair clothiers. Born January 17, 1934, in Potter Brook, she was the daughter of Kenneth C. and Lottie V. Thompson Abbott. On July 19, 1958, in Potter Brook, she married Thornton "Ted" Williams, who predeceased her in 1995. Prior to the operation of the Coudersport businesses with her husband, Mrs. Williams was employed by Galeton Production Company. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Coudersport. Surviving are: two sisters, Louise (Shirland) Kemp of Charleston, W. Va., and Helen (William) Seagers of Bradenton, Fla.; a nephew, Kenneth (Diana) Kemp of Charleston, W. Va; three nieces, Kandace (Ronald) DeVincentis of Norcross, Ga., Pamela (Mitch) Jordan of Sarasota, Fla., and Tara (James) Ritter of Tipton, Ind.; several grandnieces and grandnephews; and three aunts, Margaret Smith of Canton, Helen Abbott of Westfield and Nilah Abbott of Sabinsville. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 2, in Christ Episcopal Church, Coudersport, with the Rev. Elaine Silverstrim officiating. Memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church. Arrangements are entrusted to the Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses. |
