Burnside 6th in wrestling event

Cameron County's Aaron Bunrside came home with a sixth-place medal from the recent Pa. State Junior Wrestling Tournament in Johnstown.

Burnside competed in the 160-lb. class for ages 11-12. He won his opening bout, 3- 1, in overtime, then scored another OT win, 4-3.

Burnside took his first defeat in the semifinals, 8- 0, and dropped a 9-3 deci- sion in his last consolation match.

Nick Stuckey and Paul Etchepare also qualified for the state tournament.

Stuckey, wrestling at 125 lbs. for ages 11-12, opened with a 13-2 decision and a pin before he was eliminated with a pair of defeats.

Etchepare notched a win in the consolation bracket at 55 lbs. for ages 10 and under before he was eliminated.
