      Why is it that the young people of today don't seem to care how they write or speak? I cringe when I hear some of the improper English that's commonly spoken by most people my age- and many people older than me!

CCHS grads 'run for hope'
      To the editor: Two Cameron County High School graduates, Megan Zoschg and Lisa Gillette, have combined forces to form a team to run in the May 6 "Race for Hope" in Washington, D.C.. The event will raise money to support research and to raise awareness of brain tumors and brain cancer.
