CCHS grads 'run for hope' To the editor: Two Cameron County High School graduates, Megan Zoschg and Lisa Gillette, have combined forces to form a team to run in the May 6 "Race for Hope" in Washington, D.C.. The event will raise money to support research and to raise awareness of brain tumors and brain cancer. Team Brainstormers was formed because each of these friends, including Megan and Lisa, had a family member diagnosed with brain cancer. Please consider supporting their team. To access their information, log on to curebraintumors.org and click on "join a team" (if you would like to run or walk) or "donate to participant/team" (if you would like to donate). Type "Brainstormers," and then click on the team name for more information. Donations can also be made by mail using a form available either from the site or by contacting me. See you at the finish line! Sincerely Nancy Zoschg Emporium |
