Blood drive set for Thursday

An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Thursday, April 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Emporium VFW Club.

The need for blood is great, according to the Red Cross. Individuals can donate every 56 days, as long as they are healthy and at least 17 years old. Each person donating a pint of blood will be given a free T-shirt.
