Students place in IU9 competition

Three students from Cameron County's Enrichment Program attended the recent IU9 computer competitions.
Eighth-grader Joey Botera took first place in graphic design, creating an ad for his father's construction business. His entry is headed for the state competitions April 25.
Sophomore Garrett Borden (left) placed second in graphic design with his creation of a Tshirt emblem.
Freshman Matthew Melott created a website for a local business, Pitt Stop. He encountered technical glitches but still earned honorable mention.
Participants expressed their appreciation to Art and Ink for assistance with graphic design.
