Paul Gaberseck

Paul S. Gaberseck, 36, of Emporium, died Wednesday (March 28, 2007).

Born Feb. 26, 1971 in Coudersport, a son of Dan Wennin, Emporium and LuAnn Zimmer Gaberseck, Eldred.

On June 3, 2001, in Emporium, he married Valerie Aikens, who survives.

Mr. Gaberseck was a 1989 graduate of Oswayo Valley High School. He enjoyed the outdoors and creative stonework using slate. He worked in the construction field for most of his life, most recently with Bob Cummins Construction in Bradford.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Brandon and Chase Kamats of Emporium; two daughters, Nikkole and Brooke Gaberseck of Emporium; father, Dan Wennin (Tonyia) of Emporium; stepfather, Joseph Gaberseck (LuAnn) of Eldred; paternal grandmother, Delores Turner of Emporium; paternal grandfather, Robert Wennin of Emporium; two brothers, Brock Wennin and Jason Gaberseck, both of Emporium; and two sisters, Amy (David) Hughes of Bradford and Meghan Gaberseck of Eldred.

He was preceded in death by a son, Mitchell Logan Gaberseck.

A funeral service was held at the Barnett Funeral Home with Rev. James Eastman officiating. Burial was in the Newton Cemetery.
