June Sarick

June B. Sarick, 82, of Emporium died Friday (March 30, 2007) at Guy and Mary Felt Manor.

She was born June 19, 1924 in Moore Hill, a daughter of Edward and Ella Mae Belden Uber. She was married to Andrew Sarick.

She retired from Sylvania where she worked for many years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the First United Methodist Church in Emporium.

Surviving are a sister, Irene Lyon, Moore Hill; two brothers, James "Pete" (Ann) Uber, Jamestown, Robert Uber, Emporium; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, husband, five sisters, Olie Nelson, Jessie Kriner, Ethel Bly, Ora Lewis and Edith Cato; and two brothers, Claude and Hugh Uber.

Funeral services were held at the Barnett Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Atkinson, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Moore Hill Cemetery.
