Max Uber

Max L. Uber, 59, of Emporium died Monday (April 2, 2007).

He was born Jan. 15, 1949 in St. Marys, a son of John M. "Jack" and Lucy E. Baum Uber.

Mr. Uber served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. He was a lifelong resident of Emporium.

Surviving are two sons, John Uber of Emporium and Brian Uber; a daughter, Lisa Uber of Emporium; six brothers, Joseph Uber, Howard Uber, and Robert Uber, all of Emporium, William Uber of St. Marys, Charles Uber of Johnstown and Jack Uber; and four sisters, Judy Greenthaner of Buffalo, Ellie Haines of Genesee, Lily Skillman of North Carolina., and Kathy Uber of St. Marys.

Mr. Uber was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Anthony Uber.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no visitation.
