Planning for '100-Mile Yard Sale'

Residents of southern Cameron County may join in on the "100-Mile Yard Sale." It's sponsored by the Quehanna Industrial Development Corp., based in Karthaus.

QIDC plans broad publicity to attract people to the yard sale, set for July 20-21. Participants will have their locations pinpointed on a map distributed to hundreds of people who are expected to be bargain-hunting that weekend.

Route for the yard sale promotion is roughly described by QIDC as Rt. 879 from Shawville through LeContes Mills, Frenchville, Keewaydin, Karthaus, Pottersdale, Sinnemahoning, Driftwood, Benezette and Medix.
