Computer classes offered

Potter County Education Council is offering evening classes on Internet usage, basic computer operation, Microsoft Word, Excel and Microsoft Publisher.

The remainder of the schedule is as follows: Monday, April 16, Excel 1; Thursday, April 19, Excel 2; Monday, April 23, Publisher 1; and Thursday, April 26, Publisher 2.

Classes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the council's Coudersport office, located at 227 North Main Street. Cost $38 and includes a textbook.

Government employees or officials in Potter or McKean counties can qualify to take the training for free through a grant that has been provided to the Education Council.
