Harry Horner

Harry J. Horner, 78, of Ulysses, died Friday (April 6, 2007) at Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport.

Born June 19, 1928, in Philadelphia, he was the son of Harry and Margaret Hammerle Horner. He was married to the former Margaret M. Curran.

A World War II veteran, he served with U.S. Marine Corps from 1944 to 1947 in the Pacific Theatre. He was a Ulysses resident since 1988 and was employed by Sunrock Corp. in Media for 25 years.

Surviving are a sister, Dorothy Horner of Williamstown, NJ; and a granddaughter, Taylor Parisi.

In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret Ann Horner; two sisters, Mary Janet Horner and Margaret Horner; and a brother, John F. Horner.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Olney Funeral Home, Ulysses.
