Helen Bitner

Helen V. Bitner, 89, formerly of Emporium, died Saturday (April 7, 2007) at Myerstown.

She was the widow of William C. Bitner. Born in Johnstown on Oct. 10, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian Green Hartman.

She attended Myerstown Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Pastor James (Susan) Bitner and Joseph B. Bitner and his wife Mary Ann Wigfield of Clearfield; four greatgrandchildren, Sheri Renno, Joshua Bitner, Traci Laucks and Joanna Bitner; one greatgreat grandson, Tylan Renno; one sister, Rhea Weyant of Johnstown; a brother, Robert Hartman of Johnstown; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by brothers Glen, William, Raymond and John Hartman and sister, Olive Bunn.
