Birdwatching topic of workshop

A birdwatching workshop is being held on Saturday, April 21, in Port Allegany.

Topics will include bird identification, optics, field guides, reference books, habitat preferences and ethics.

Instructor Gary Edwards has more than two decades of birding experience.

The workshop will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the PCEC Port Allegany Education Center, 8 N. Main St. Cost is $10.
