Dixie Lee Ripple Dixie Lee Ripple, 65, of Costello, died Friday (April 13, 2007) at her home. Born on Oct. 26, 1941 in Coudersport, she was the daughter of Clifford S. and Kathryn "Kay" Neff Stuckey. On Nov. 21, 1959 in Austin she married William H. "Bill" Ripple, who survives. Mrs. Ripple was a 1959 graduate of Austin High School. She was a member of the Costello United Methodist Church, where she served as secretary. She had worked on the election board and served as auditor for Portage Township. She was a member and past worthy matron of Mecca Chapter #217 Order of Eastern Star of Coudersport. She was also a former member of the Austin School Board and a charter member of the Austin Dam Memorial Association. Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are three daughters, Rhonda (John) Valenti and Laurel Ripple, both of Austin; Vicki (Michael) Roberts of Rochester, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Marcia Valenti, Karina Valenti, Patrick Roberts, Ryan Roberts and Billy Ripple; two brothers, Clifford S. (Jeanette) Stuckey, Jr. and Ronald (Robin) Stuckey, both of Austin; three sisters, Donna (Michael) Campbell of Eldred, Thelma (James) Emigh of Morrisdale, Sandra (John) Fowler, of Austin, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and two nephews, Todd Stuckey and Tony Emigh. Funeral services were held at the Costello United Methodist Church with pastor John Baney officiating. Burial was in Forest Hill Cemetery in Austin.
