Fishing derby May 26

A Children's Fishing Derby will be held on Saturday, May 26, at the Brooks Run, off Rt. 872 above the breast of the George B. Stevenson Dam.

It's open to anyone age 12 or younger. Prizes will be awarded and refreshments available all day. Registration opens at 9:00, with fishing from 10:00 to noon.

The derby is being sponsored by East Fork Sportsmen and Sinemahoning Sportsmen, with cooperation from the Pa. Fish and Boat Commission and the Pa. Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources.
