CVFD recognizes volunteers

Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department recognized many of its faithful volunteers during the annual appreciation dinner at the fire station.

Fire Chief Andy Dubots presented the "Firefighter of the Year" award to Harvey Sell, and the "Junior Firefighter of the Year" award to Candace Patrick.

These honors are presented to the firefighters receiving the most votes from their peers, in recognition of their contributions to the department.

Certificates of appreciation were presented to neighboring fire departments, local and county government agencies, and Coudersport area businesses that support the fire department on a regular basis.

Apparatus response awards went to Bryan Phelps, Andy Dubots, Dave Reese, Jeremy Chitester, Tadd Ostroski, Travis Osborne, Shane Wilson, and Glenn Dunn II.

Life memberships were awarded to Dana Stevens and Richard Dugan, both of whom have served the Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department for more than ten years.

Receiving ten-year pins were Christy Steiner and Tammy Labar. Five-year pins were awarded to Cecil Dubots, Emily Dunn, Amber Dunn and Kelly Bobbett.
