Coudersport Party Supplies opened for business this week on North Main Street, in the building occupied most recently by Books in the Den. Owners Rhonda and Brian Empson are pleased to become part of the local business scene. Their store stocks a wide selection of party supplies, including licensed characters, milestone items and gag gifts. Rhonda (above) also helps customers as a party planner. She has established links with wholesalers who can rapidly and inexpensively fill special orders. "The most important suggestion I have for anyone planning a party is to come in and talk," she said. "Once I have an idea of the particulars, we can work together to make sure all of the bases are covered, and it doesn't have to be real expensive." Coudersport Party Supplies is open from 8:30 to 5:00 on weekdays and 9:00 to 1:00 on Saturdays. The Empsons are planning a grand opening for Saturday, May 5.
