A Good Start! It was great to see so many out at the Ski Denton Lodge for our Songwriters Roundtable kick-off on a tough weekend. And what a kick-off it was! Thanks to all for your support. Now it's time to prepare for the Saturday night, May 5, show right back at Ski Denton. It runs from 7:00 to 10:00. Those people who are in Coudersport for the Maple Festival should consider joining us. We have some entertaining music lined up: + Carla Ulbrich describes herself as a "professional smart aleck" and generally keeps the audience in stitches on the way to delivering her very amusing songs. Learn more about Carla at www.carlau.com. + Joe Giacoio is a very talented songwriter, and an amazing guitar player. His lyrical wordplay is at the same time funny, serious and incredibly clever. His website is www.joegmusic.com. + Elgie's Kitchen (www.timlaborie.com) is an acoustic trio featuring the guitar work and songwriting of Tim Laborie, the lapsteel and songwriting of Joel Hanna, and the mandolin and songwriting of Chuck McCaan. + Jonathan Haley, a local favorite, will open the show with his tremendous guitar work. A member of the musical Morley family of Potter County, he is a gifted and humble performer who impresses all with his spirit and dedication. See more about him at www.jonathanhaley.com.
The Roundtable will again be hosted by the songwriting team of Eppie Bailey and Steve Quelet of Jakob's Hollow. You can learn more about us at www.jakobshollow.com. |
