John Bauman

John H. Bauman, 58, of St. Marys, died Monday (April 16, 2007) at the Elk Regional Health Center.

He was born May 19, 1948, in Emporium, son of the late Paul Albert and Elva Louise Kunes Bauman.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church and had served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. He owned and operated Bauman's Plumbing and Heating in St. Marys. He greatly enjoyed Civil War history.

Mr. Bauman is survived by two sisters, Jean (Thomas) Price and Paula (Joel) Mertel, both of St. Marys; three nieces, Leah (Brian) Reiter of St. Marys, Pamela Mertel of St. Marys, and Tracy Mertel of Boston, Mass.; and two nephews, Doug (Jill) Price of Kersey and William Mertel of Pittsburgh.

Funeral services were held at the First United Methodist Church, St. Marys. Burial was in the Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway.
