Hetrick playing at Pitt Bradford

Coudersport High School graduate Zach Hetrick is a member of the men's baseball team at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.

Hetrick has appeared in all 23 of the Panthers' games, seeing most of his playing time at second base. He has a .296 batting average, with 20 hits in 67 at-bats. Hetrick also has three doubles, a home run and a stolen base and 25 runs batted in.

His father, John Hetrick of Coudersport, is a former professional baseball player who spent time in the Detroit Tigers organization.

UPB carries a 19-9 record into Friday's home game with Brockport State.
