 | | Veteran athletic coach John Barnhart (right) was guest speaker at a recent Emporium Rotary meeting. A resident of Elk County and teacher in St. Marys, Barnhart recently completed his first season as Cameron County head boys' basketball coach. He's also an assistant coach for the football program at CCHS. A guest of program chair Mac Crumrine (left), Barnhart said he was pleased with the progress of both teams and spoke of his emphasis on the fundamentals, including the importance putting academics ahead of athletics. |
