 | | Earth Day was observed at the Family Center in Emporium with a special growing demonstration. Youngsters including Brennen Bure (shown) used a plastic bag, wet paper towel and marigold seeds to construct a mini-greenhouse. Once the seeds sprout, the plants will be transferred to pots or planted in the ground. |
