Alle-Catts out to defend title

Emporium's Alle-Catt baseball makes its 2007 diamond debut on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 with the season-opener against long-time rival Crosby.
Manager Ralph McKimm's men are two-time defending champions in the Alle-Catt Amateur Baseball League and appear to have the ingredients to once again challenge for the crown. The hitting will be strong and McKimm will have several options on the mound.
Emporium will travel to Franchot Field in Olean, N. Y., on Sunday, May 13, to take on Olean AOH.
McKimm's squad has a pair of games the following weekend: Saturday, May 19, at Port Allegany (in Roulette) and Sunday, May 20, at home against Shinglehouse.
All games start at 2:00 p.m. and fans are welcome.
