MCFR gets going Sat.

Stock car racing is scheduled to return to the McKean County Fair Raceway (MCFR) Saturday night after the season opener was postponed last weekend due to wet conditions.

A highlight of the opener will be the annual Jim Duffy Memorial. Competition on the East Smethport oval gets underway at 7:00.

MCFR has added the FASTRAK Late Models to its weekly card this season.

There will be no Sportsman class this year at MCFR. Two new divisions will be running on a weekly basis: Pure Stocks and E-Mods. Also on the weekly card will be Super Stocks, Street Stocks and Mini- Stocks. Another division, Grocery-Getters, will be on the card five times.
