Kathryn Dorman

Kathryn M. "Kitty" Dorman died Tuesday (March 27, 2007) in Providence Extended Care Nursing Home, Anchorage, Alaska.

Formerly of Emporium, she was married to Dr. George Dorman. Following his retirement from medical practice in Emporium, they moved to California. Dr. Dorman died in 1980. Kathryn remained in she moved to Alaska in 2002 to be closer to her family.

Surviving are one son, George "Eddie" Dorman and his wife Dorothy, and grandsons William and Patrick and granddaughter Constance, all of Anchorage.

Mrs. Dorman was predeceased by a daughter, Margaret, and a son William.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 15 at 2:00 p.m. in Newton Cemetery, Emporium, with the Rev. Gary Atkinson, pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Emporium, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Coppersmith- Condon Funeral Home, Emporium.

Memorials be made to the Keyboard Memorial Fund at the First United Methodist Church, in honor of Kitty's good friend Esther Bosnik.
