Small Communities, Big Hearts
To the editor:
Small communities have big hearts when one of their own has a big need. Communities in this area came together in a big way to help Dale when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor on Christmas Day.
Immediately prayer chains were activated, meals sent in, kind and encouraging words expressed, and hugs offered when they were the most needed.
People went one further when they learned the high cost of treatment that Dale needed. Coudersport Lions Club added Dale to the club's benefit in early February. Troy Black, Donna Black, family and friends in the Shinglehouse area worked together on a benefit in March
We thank all those who donated countless time, items, money and love to reach out and help Dale. We are thankful to have such supportrtive communities, family and friends who care so much.
Again, thank you for your generosity as such an important part of God's continual blessing, strength and healing for Dale.
