Donald W. Wigfield

Funeral services for Donald W. "Wig" Wigfield, 62, who died Wednesday (May 30, 2007) at Elk Regional Health Center, following a long illness, will be held today (Saturday) at 11 a.m. in the Down County Baptist Church in Drifwood.

Visitation will be held at the same location, beginning at 10 a.m.

Mr. Wigfield was born May 30, 1945 in Greensburg. He was a son of the late Frank C. and Olive Hafer Wigfield Kelly. On Nov. 28, 1996, he married Cindy Huff Wigfield, who survives.

He has worked at Valley Volcan Mold & Iron Co. in Latrobe for 24 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors and riding his Harley Davidson.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Wigfield is survived by a two daughters, Dawn Marie Warren of Great Cacapon, W. Va. and Carol Ann Hall of Derry; a son John Francis Wigfield of Greensburg; five grandchildren; a sister, Margaret Ann Kelly of Ohio; and a brother, Gene Morris of Greensburg.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Wigfield was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Lee Hall Jr.; a brother, Francis Wigfield; and a sister, Janet Wigfield.

Burial will be in Mix Run Cemetery.
