Margaret Summers

Margaret (Peg) Summers, 57, died Monday (June 4, 2007) in Houston, Tex.

She was born in St. Marys on Feb. 17, 1950, a daughter of the late Francis Bernard and Frances Elvira Mix. On Feb. 23, 1974 , she married James Summers.

Mrs. Summers enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with her family and pets, and watching college sports.

She is survived by her son, Kyle Summers, Bozeman, Mont; a daughter, Jaime (Stephen) Kingsley, Newark, Del.; her stepfather, Leo Grimone II, and stepmother, Elaine Grimone, Emporium; two brothers, Robert (Kim) Mix, Bellefonte and Leo (Jana) Grimone III, McKinney, Tex; two sisters, Terri and Betty Grimone, both of Emporium; two stepbrothers, Mike (Valerie) Barnett, St. Marys, and Eric Barnett, Emporium; sister-in-law, Gwen Mix, Rochester, N.Y.; a niece and many nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dick and Donnie Mi,x and a stepbrother, Chris Barnett.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday in Linesville. Memorials may be made to Wildwood Baptist Church, 18717 Hubbard Road, East Moline IL 61244 or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
